This redesign kept much of the garden's structure in place at the customer's request, though much needed changing. The borders were overgrown, the walling throughout the garden was damaged and crumbling, and the pond was dated and sore on the eyes as was the paving. New features installed throughout the garden including new paving with a weathered limestone effect to fit the traditional aesthetic; a wooden pergola structure to surround the hot tub; a new lawn with a beautiful pond feature centred; and a mixture of gravel, pebbles, and river cobbles. The finished article is elegant and traditional with a succinct cottage feel.
The team was also obviously pleased with their work, their enthusiasm showing constantly. Definitely recommend, particularly if you don’t quite know what you want and are willing for a project to develop and adapt as it goes on. J. Edwards
